Mississippi Sexist

Mississippi State Representative Robert Foster belongs to the correct political party: a southern Republican.  He is denying Reporter Larrison Campbell, a female, access to his traveling campaign for Mississippi governor.  He states he is a devout Christian who has vowed to his wife that he would never be alone with another female.  He would allow a man to accompany him on his campaign.

WOW!! There are many levels to this line of thinking.  One, he is viewing Larrison as a sexual object, not as a human being.  Further, he must feel he is not strong enough to resist the charms of this so-believed sexual siren and something inappropriate is surely going to occur.  How southern Christian of him. Furthermore, he assumes a male reporter is safe to tag along.  What if (gasp!) the reporter is a sexual object ready to lure him into a gay liaison.  Why does he see the man as a professional and not the woman?

On top of all this, he said he would allow Larrison to accompany his campaign if she brought along a man as a chaperone.  When she asked him why she should provide the companion and not his campaign he stated his campaign was too small to be able to provide one.  He kept saying it was his truck and his rules.  Another moron!

I am so sick of this conservative bullshit.  This is here and now...not there and then! Try stepping into this century.  It's pretty good.

FAKE?

This was taken from The Washington Post:
“Tracey from Florida”
You may have seen “Tracey from Florida,” a smiling blonde, or “AJ from Texas,” a sharply dressed gentleman, in videos from President Trump’s reelection campaign. They’re not real Trump supportersas the Associated Press reported. They’re models who were paid to film stock video footage.
“Though the 20-second videos include tiny disclaimers that say ‘actual testimonial, actor portrayal,’ they raise the question why a campaign that can fill arenas with supporters would have to buy stock footage of models,” the AP’s Bernard Condon reported. “It’s a practice that, under different circumstances, Trump himself would likely blast as ‘fake news.’
“Trump campaign officials declined repeated requests for comment on Tuesday. Political experts say that, while it’s not unusual for stock footage to find its way into ads, a presidential campaign should have been more careful.”

This is so expected from trump.  It is a classic example of how people who scream out against something (fake news) are often the ones who are practicing it.
Sure, it has fine print explaining the testimonials, but how many people read those tiny disclaimers?  Out of the bazillion wonderful, beautiful trump supporters out there, certainly his campaign could have found two supporters willing to go on camera effusing their praise for the donald!
trump is a moron!
